Megan she/her
razor cuts, alternative color , hair transformations
Super Stylist 1 @meganhairdreams
Megan grew up in Yamhill county and moved to Eugene in 2021. She moved to help take care of her four month old niece, then found herself in beauty school and decided to stay.
She was always very interested in the beauty industry. Some of her earliest memories were spending time in her aunt’s hair salon in her hometown. At about thirteen, she started to do her own and her friends hair, creating colors and styles that can only be achieved in a bathroom with several trips to Sally’s.
That’s definitely the vibe she wants to give to her hair artistry; the feel of getting your hair done by your high school best friend in their parents bathroom, but in a professional setting with professional results. She loves working with bright colors and leans heavily into the more alternative cuts and colors.
One of her favorite things about the hair industry is that trends are constantly changing so she’ll never get bored. It’s important to her to keep up with current styles so she’ll always be equipped to take on something new and service every client.
When she’s not at the salon you’ll most likely find her holed up in her room with her cat watching horror movies, working on fiber arts, or spending hours on her nails. When she does manage to leave her cave she loves spending time with her family and getting to watch her niece grow up.
Favorite genres/ artists in music?
My taste is music can really be all over the map. So far in 2026 my top artists have been Ethel Cain, Shygirl, Hayley Williams, Oklou, Slayyter, and Mitski. I also love going out to metal shows and goth nights.
Favorite shows/ movies?
I LOVE movies and tv, and chances are if you’ve ever sat in my chair I’ve definitely brought it up! My favorite types of movies tend to be queer, campy, and horror. A few of my favorite films that encapsulate all of those themes are brain damage, vamp, love lies bleeding, and frankenhooker. I’d say my top comfort tv shows are twin peaks and teen wolf but I’m almost always watching multiple shows at once so feel free to ask me about my current watches (or I’ll ask you first!)
Favorite products you’re currently using?
My biggest struggle with my hair right now has been getting it to stay looking good with the rain and humidity and my favorite products for that have been Aircraft, suncatcher, and on a cloud. Aircraft pomade mousse is my go-to curl styler right now that gives me enough hold to get through the weather but leaves a finish that looks a little edgier. I’ve been using suncatcher styling spray and on a cloud oil on my hair in between washes to add back in moisture and shine as my hair starts to frizz out throughout the week.
What is your signature style?
I wouldn’t say I really have a signature style when it comes to what I wear; which you might notice if you come to see me regularly because I can dress vastly different from day to day. Some style icons that have influenced me throughout my life are Junie b Jones, bratz dolls, early 2000s Lindsay Lohan characters, Ms. Honey, and Stevie Nicks.
