Aleah grew up nearby in Roseburg and has recently relocated to Eugene to start her journey as a hairstylist. Growing up with curly hair has made her all the more determined to be well versed and constantly learning about every hair type. She loves working with curls as well as color, weather it be vivid colors, lived in or bright blondes, or anything in between.
One of the most exciting things about the hair industry to her is the unlimited number of new things to try and learn. Her creative nature is reflected in not only her work but also in her free time where she has always gravitated towards creative jobs and hobbies. She enjoys staying in, crafting and creating fashion with crochet and textiles with a film on and tea in hand.
She is rather introverted but a good listener and conversationalist nonetheless. She is passionate about connecting with people and making them feel heard and seen when they are in her chair. She prioritizes making her clients feeling relaxed yet enthused about their time with her, and loving their hair when they leave. She strives to make people feel confident, beautiful and themselves.
Favorite music genre/artist:
Too many to pick from but I love really devastatingly sad girl music, Phoebe Bridgers Adrienne Lenker, Mitski, Leith ross, Take Care. and indie folk and midwest emo. I love Tv Girl and Car Seat Headrest and Modern Baseball and Tame Impala.
Favorite shows/movies:
Love a weird girl movie/show, Jennifer’s Body, May, Poor Things. Favorite show is Fleabag. And for a comfort movie Fantastic Mr. Fox
Favorite products:
I’ve been really liking the R+Co Cool Wind air dry cream for smoothness and softness when blow drying and as a stand alone styler for low maintenance folks who air dry at home.
Signature style:
Depends on the day, fashion is a moving target for me but usually (or at least I like to think) landing somewhere grunge, alternative, vampire, emo, casual. Almost always in black.
Dream Clientele:
Cool interesting funny funky people. Creative and laid back folks.
